Overview HB100 Miniature Microwave Motion Sensor is a X-Band Bi-Static Doppler transceiver module. It has a built-in Dielectric Resonator Oscillator (DRO) and a pair of Microstrip patch antenna array, making it ideal for usage in motion detection equipment.
This module is ideal for alarms, motion detectors, lighting control, vehicle speed measurement and automatic doors.
Features - Low current consumption (typical 30 mA)

- Long detection range (20 m)
- Supply voltage: between 4.75V and 5.25V
- X-Band frequency: 10.525 GHz
- Minimum Power Output: 13 dBm EIRP
Note: Please use a low voltage soldering iron and connect it to a reliable grounding. This device is sensitive to ESD and it may be damaged during soldering. The IF output of the HB100 module is especially sensitive. You can check it for damage using a multimeter in diode mode. The forward voltage drop between IF and GND should be about 0.25 V.
Note: This module is not manufactured by ST Electronics AgilSense. It is similar but not identical to the HB100 sensor manufactured by AgilSense. The AgilSense datasheet and the application note are provided for reference only and there might be small differences between this module and the AgilSense HB100 sensor.
